Antique heavily beaded souvenir pincushion by Iroquois women at the turn of the century.1909. Very firmly packed pink cotton base. Fantastic beadwork. Excellent condition. From Canada’s Niagra Falls. Red cotton backing with faded inscription. Very faded but might be - “Mis Ellen Werileaux, August 3rd, 1914, Tuesday Night, You behave for her White River, Murcite County.” (Other signature may be Don Luak). 7” w x 9” t x 2” tall.
